A LOT!
You know, women do really know how to cook and for those of us who are too busy to cook, there will always be Gabriel's Desserts. Our dinner last evening was wonderful with Lisa Baynes sharing about her first foreign mission trip this summer to Brazil and how God not only pushed her completely out of her comfort zone but also placed her in a classroom of children where she share "her story" about not having her earthly Father in her life as a small child but that her Heavenly Father filled that void and loved her. Lisa had no way of knowing until after sharing her story that most if the kids int he room did not know or have an earthly Father in their life. Many prayed to receive Christ as Savior that day! Lisa who was uncomfortable with the idea of sharing in front of the room, did a beautiful job sharing her heart with us last night. Thank you Lisa! Peter Cunningham then shared with us about the upcoming mission trip in October to Guatemala and we found out that we could help theme by gathering simple school supplies for them to take to the children there...So, look for a basket on or near the Women's Ministry table until October 17th and let's fill it with pencils, crayons, little scissors, pencil sharpeners, markers, glue sticks, small coloring books, etc.
